Today,

Today is a strange day, but it definatley should be a day of celebration, and not too many tears. Life and death may well be completley different, but some aspects are the same, like rememberance. Remembering the amazing times you had with the person you’ve lost, and making sure you make them proud. It’s funny, it didnt really hit me until this morning, that it’s been a year since my grandad died, we were very close. This week, but last year was a crazy one, i cant really express how horrible it was, but i got through it. And my grandad wouldnt want me to cry, and he wouldnt want me to remember this time last year, he would want me to remember all the lovely times we had. So today is for him, it is for remembering him as what he was, an amazing man. It’s also strange how relevance can change, all this week i’ve been complaining about school, and about not having a boyfriend, and now that all seems a million miles away,and so irrelavant.But it’s not necessarily a bad thing to forget everything today, it’s a good thing to remember, and im positive that today will be a good day, its not a time for what if, and its not time for regret,it’s not a day for pretending, its not a day to walk out the door with a smile on your face, its a day to face truth, but with happiness too.

Vampires and Video Games..

so it’s been a while, apologies. but i figured that im pretty much writing to myself on here, haha. but what the hell, i enjoy expressing myself. (: theres two things that everyones talking about at the moments, first off being the new Call Of Duty Game, Modern Warfare. I walk down corridors, half listening to topics of conversation, 99% being about this new game, unlike most people i’m not complaining about all this hype, i find it quite entertaining that most teenage boys rush home to get straight into it, and play it all night, i’ve even heard some guy pretended illness to his girlfriend, just so he can stay in and play it! My younger brother is desparate for it, but is only nine, and with the game being an 18 isnt allowed it, gutted! Another thing everyones speaking about, is the new film release from the twilight sequal. i’ve read the books personally, and love them. but i didnt fall in love with the first movie, nor will i for this one.Simply because no matter how hard anyone tries, such a good book cant be potrayed as well in a movie, with parts skipped and stupid high contrast through out, i cant deny my dissapointment. Sorry to complain, but i also really despise the whole r-patz thing, when it comes down to it, people who have read the books {mainly teenage girls} fall in love with the character, not robert pattinson, but they dont know that. they think he’s some super amazing romantic guy, like in the book. trouble is in real life he’s a tosser, being arsey in interveiws, refusing to devote a single to the next twilight album, because his music career is his other option. What kind of stuck up guy says that? in my opinion, all the screaming girls need to credit the books more than the actors, because the books are amazing, (: cant think of mucho else to say, until next time. xo

Yesterday was in interesting day, most spent with the family, 3 younger siblings can be a handful to entertain, especially the 8 year old girlie who is quite persistent, bless her. (: we had a picnic in the woods and chased around the trees, a few cuts and bruises but it was good fun. the night before i watched the final of big brother, well a little bit of it, i loved siavash but sophie deserved to win, she needs to realise her fame isnt just for her large assets, and for her personality, she’ll go far if she does. i was recently blogging about people who are changing , people who i love. i had a long chat with him, and things were solved. sometimes thats all you need, conversation. alot of tears and truth, but things are looking on the up. i need to learn from the mistakes i’ve made recently, and trust. Trust is a funny thing, it’s so hard to gain, and so easy to lose. But slowly but surley, i will regain the trust i previously had. i must say thankyou again to the people to stick with me through out, i will be evermore thankful, and i love you guys. (:

All is fair in love and kitchen utensils

Todays been an intresting one, i kinda combined the phrase “all is fair in love and war” with kitchen utensils due to a few photos i took for my mums clothing line last week. She makes baby’s clothes aprons,and much more! cute little kitch’ stuff out of organic materials, i’m very proud of her. she’s amazing and i wish the rest of the population of the uk would see that!

She asked me one morning if i would particapate in her modelling for the site, and taking the photographs , {when i wasnt posing with a bowl on my head, i have no shame!} it was good fun, we had many giggles inbetween photos, trying to figure out what would look most authentic. but have you ever thought about what you actually could pose for whilst in an apron? i think not, it proved to be quite difficult. But we did it, and the photos came out great, we got my 7 month old sister involved too, modelling the baba clothesss. (: it was great fun , sorry have i already said that? haha. see attached for the photos (:

 

as i was saying about today, some people really let you down when you least expect it. my first day back to school today, year nine is quite daunting, but i’ll pull through like always. people turn for the worse, and i find that it’s because their shallow enough to follow people like sheep, and the person who is followed particulary arent great people in the end, so their shit reflects onto the sheep you love. it’s a shame but you have to move on in the end, because you should never cry over people who wouldnt cry over you. i couldnt do without the people who are genuine in my life, without them i’d be a wreck! theres only a handful of people, maybe not even that, but i really rely on them and trust them with everything. i love them, they know who they are. (:

Long Time No Post!

Bonjour!Hola!Hello!

it indeed has been a very long time since i have updated my wordpress blog, theres no way i could possibly recall everything thats happened, but summers nearly over and i’m not hunky dory about it.

summer always goes fast for me, but this years’ has been a joke! its been amazing though, being with people i love and having fun. i’m not looking forward to going back to school.

The UK has encountered swine flu, thats one subject to blog about. The world’s media has blown it up to such a scale that the nation is scared stiff of touching any public surface! i think organisation on dealing with the problem should be first, not screaming danger about the unknown. another problem is, dealing with symptoms of swine flu must be such a pain, most symptoms are the same as an average cold, how are we supposed to know whether our blocked noses,fever,or coughs are something to wipe away with a tissue,or something bigger.

I cant beleive it’s march!

Havent been on again for a little while, thought i’d update. last month was a bit of a roller coaster, i’ts been pretty emotional! Little Amelias settling in quite nicley, no nappy changing so far! *touch wood*  i’m back at school full time now, things have been pretty rough but i’m hoping things are gonna get better. i’ve got a job! and i’ve done al0t of shopping too (: all in all things are progressing to a better place. i’m beggining to feel a little more normal again now. god knows where i would be without support from my family + friends. if anyones reading this, (which is very unsusal, aha!) and your in a really bad place at the moment, i know how it feels, and the worse it is the harder it is to even begin to belive that theres light at the end of the tunnel, but no matter what shit life puts you through, you always come out the other end as a stronger person! Lifes merciless at the end of the day, its controlling how you deal with it that gets you through.(:

more stuff occuring this past monthhh, i’ve read some amazing books, met some amazing people and got closer to previous friends. everyone deserves a second chance so i thought what the hell. me and my best friend kerrie have had our ups and downs, but we’ll always pull through, its how we roll haha (: musics been great this month, so much has been happening! i’ve bought a lot of albums and found alot of new bands and sounds. i’ve recently signed up t0 myspace which is great for music-spotting too. (:  thats about it really, oh and i’m still single! *groansss!* haaha!

Your going out for a meal, or going to see a movie, meeting up with the girls, or your boyfriend. looking all nice, you even made the effort to go buy the fancy new brand of mascara, or that ‘long lasting’ lipstick. your out and having a great time, then suddenly it begins to rain, you suddenly panic for a second, then realise your fine as you have waterproof mascara onn, clever you eh? you can probably guess what happens next in my story! i dont know about anyone else but it’s incredibly frustrating when you cant rely on products, expensive products to do their jobs. mascara, lipstick, nail polish. all say there the best, long lasting,waterproof,non chip, all of these promises and there you are realising just how great they can be! i’m not suggesting all products are crap, some of them most probably work, but i’ve certinaly had a few situations where they havent been! i also hate the way on the glamorous adverts about mascara the women have HUUUUGEEEEEE eye lashes, then your like woaaahhh and then it says in small print at the bottom, *model wearing fake eyelashes and its like oh great we can really see how it works then! i dont know about anyone else but i think someone needs to prove me wrong and create a brand that keep their promises! until next time.x

We all swear by them;but dont be fooled!

The one and only, GHD straightening technology. no matter how hard other brand names try, they just cannot complete the same flawless finish and poker straight style. As we all know,  such a perfected finish comes at a price, most start around the reigon of 100 squid. the further up the line with bright colours and special added designs combine with a even higher price. many think that this is a ridiculous amount of money to spend on such a product. but many of us have become reliant on the ghd’s work and they become essential in our day to day lifestyle. thinking about buying some ghds? watch out for the fakes. as there is no competition to this product, you can imagine how many fakes that are being mass-produced this very minute. purshasing fake ghd’s could result to numerous amounts of problems such as dangerous blow ups, over heating and basically true disaster!

heres a few things to look out for when buying GHD’s;

-the irons on the ghds have a small LED to indicate when ready to use, this LED should be clear when switched off. as the fakes have red LED even when are switched off.

-the LED should also flash when ready to use, the fakes do not flash when ready.

-The holograms bear Authenticity Verification Codes (AVCs), which are a series of 3 blocks, each of 5 characters, both numbers, and letters in upper and lower cases.  All AVCs are different.  The AVCs on iron and box, or iron and power cord label – can therefore never match, as each AVC is unique.  These AVCs are individually registered with Schreiner.  If an owner of a ghd iron visits the ghd website (there is only one: www.ghdhair.com), they can click on a link titled ‘Hologram Verification’ (in the section ‘Product Registration’).  There, you type in your AVC (from iron, box/power cord label, or each) to confirm the authenticity of your ghd product.

here are a few things you may notice if you have purshased fake ghds;

-a ‘hanging hole’ on the swivel cord

-A pouch mat, embroidered ‘ghd professional’ comes with the iron (ghd have NEVER released a heat mat, other than the integral mats that are part of their Roll Bags, or the distinctive ‘Wrap’, released as part of a limited package with the Hot Pink iron).

-Box sleeve made from light, corrugated card – best seen from the inside face of the sleeve – (ghd use flat board)

My best advice when buying GHD’s would be to buy from a mainstream shop, or straight from hairdressers,highstreet stores or the ghd website. try to stay away from sites such as ebay, you may be getting a better deal, but imagine the dissapointment! if you really want ghd’s, pay the full price, theres no escape from it! i hope my advice helped. until next time.x

 Aaah, the gorgeous Robert Pattinson (edward cullen/cedric diggory)i must say before i watched the movie, i didnt find him that attractive. i’d see everyone absolutley raving about him and think; “whats all the fuss about” but now, after watching it i know why. his character is totally lovely and the most perfect amazing lover you could imagine. the way its written is gorgeously passionate and i can imagine all the teenage girls, (including me!) dreaming about having such an amazing man. i must remember that men/boys arent like that, and if they are their hard to find! but what would i know ? haahaa. i dont think he quite realises what hes set himself in for, he’ll have more fans that zac effron at this rate, all the girls swarming him thinking hes gonna be edward cullen, he may well be ladies but most probz hes a normal guy with normal guy behaviour. lol. i’m desparate to read the books as im a very inpatient type and refuses to wait for the next movie. my best friend recently read all 4 of the books and claims theres a teardrop on every page! so im extatic to read them all! i got the first 3 but couldnt find the 4th one on amazon for the same kind of price, if anyone has any ideas let me know.(: His acting in this movie is definatley a contrast from the young adventorous boy called cedric in his starring in harry potter. the combination of action and love, passion and tragic scenes really keeps you on the edge or your seat, a definate watch! until next time.x
